Editing a theme changes its visual tokens. Project data isn’t affected — only the look and feel of projects that use the theme.
1

Open the project's Themes panel

In the project editor sidebar, open the Themes panel.
2

Open the theme editor

Hover the theme row and click Edit.
3

Change the tokens

Update any of: name, Primary colour, Palette mode and individual chart colours, canvas colours, Header background, Radius, Shadow, and Font. You can also edit the cover-page and thank-you-page designs.
4

Preview

The project canvas previews your changes live as you edit.
5

Choose where it applies and save

Set Apply to (Current project, This client’s projects, or All projects), then click Save and apply.
If you change the Primary colour without overriding the chart palette, Oviond re-derives the ten chart colours from the new primary. Open Edit chart colours and set them by hand if you need specific colours pinned.
To make a copy instead of changing the original, hover the theme row and choose Duplicate. Editing themes requires permission to manage shared assets.
