Oviond fetches report data from your data sources over the internet. If a data source only accepts requests from approved IP addresses, or sits behind a firewall, a security plugin (like Wordfence) or Cloudflare rules, Oviond can get blocked. When that happens, the connection fails or widgets show no data. To fix it, allow Oviond’s IP addresses.

Oviond’s IP addresses

Oviond sends every data source request from these addresses:
Allow all three. Oviond spreads its requests across them, so allowing only one still lets some requests get blocked.
These addresses are only for requests from Oviond to your data sources. You can’t use them to reach Oviond.

When you need this

  • Your own website or server, for example a WooCommerce store on your WordPress site, protected by a firewall, security plugin or Cloudflare.
  • A platform account with IP restrictions, where API access is limited to a list of approved IP addresses.
Most data sources don’t need this. If yours connects and loads data, you don’t need to do anything.

Allow them

Add an allow rule for each of the three addresses on HTTPS (port 443). Ask your hosting provider if you don’t manage the firewall yourself.
After you allow the addresses, try connecting the data source again. If it was already connected, open a report that uses it and check that the widgets load.

WooCommerce

Oviond reads your store through the WooCommerce REST API, at https://<your store>/wp-json/wc/v3/. As well as allowing the addresses, make sure:
  • Your firewall or security plugin doesn’t block /wp-json/ for these addresses.
  • Your store uses HTTPS. The Shop URL you enter in Oviond must start with https://.
  • The Consumer Key and Consumer Secret you entered have Read access.

Good to know

  • The addresses are shared. Oviond’s hosting provider gives other customers these same addresses too. They’re fixed, but they aren’t used only by Oviond. If your security team needs addresses used only by Oviond, talk to us.
  • They rarely change. If they ever do, this page is updated. Check here if a connection that worked before starts failing.
