A test send bypasses the schedule and emails the automation to you (or a test recipient) right now. Use it after creating or editing an automation — it’s the fastest way to catch a broken widget, wrong logo, or mangled subject line before the real delivery.

Open the automation

From the Automations list, click the automation’s row or the three-dot menu.

Click Test Send

Oviond renders the report with the current settings and sends it exactly as the scheduled delivery would.

Optionally override recipient

By default the test goes to your logged-in email. Use the Send to field to target a different address.

Check the inbox

Verify the subject, sender name, body copy, and — if attached — the PDF looks correct.
Test sends don’t count against your monthly email quota and don’t appear in Run History — they’re out-of-band.
